Biossence was established in 2006 to develop and deliver energy projects producing renewable power from waste. Biossence develops and operates energy recovery facilities with integrated waste treatment and fuel processing capability. Utilising proven advanced thermal conversion technology in fully integrated plants enables waste to be substantially diverted away from landfill.

Biossence is dedicated to addressing energy supply and waste management challenges in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner. In addition to confronting the pressing challenge of providing secure energy supplies by providing renewable electricity from biomass waste, Biossence also provides a long-term sustainable waste disposal solution that substantially reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Biossence is majority owned by Network Economy AG, a Swiss-based investment company.
